2015 is close to taking its last breath and we wanted to see what amazing inspirational creations in terms of movies and albums or songs have left a big impression for musicians all over the world this year. We got some really good responses, lots of new inspirational stuff to look into, and had fun putting together this article. Henrik Björkgård (Velvet Six)

Favourite movie: I think the best movie I’ve seen in 2015 so far is Mad Max: Fury Road because I love the post apocalyptic theme.

Favourite album/song: I can’t name one “best” album but i think Alabama Shakes:Sound & Color , Faith No More:Sol Invictus , Killing Joke:Pylon are all very good albums.

Corey Taylor is pissed and he is not afraid to show it! Of course, for fans of Slipknot and Stone Sour that is not a surprise, as he is also known as The Great Big Mouth. Released this year, this book is a..let’s call it small encyclopaedia..of the things that annoy the crap out of him, things that he wishes people knew so they could fix, and things he wants to share with the rest of the world in the hopes that someone might listen.

The book contains 11 chapters, each crazier and more verbally violent, that go from subjects such as anger towards the whole human race and its lack of common sense, with real life examples from places such as the mall, the music industry nowadays, airports and day to day encounters with people on the street...

Lykaion – The italians are taking over

2 Weeks ago I had the great pleasure of talking to the whole (!) line-up of Lykaion on Skype. If I could describe it in one word that would be ..hilarious. Even though their music has gothy and gloomy influences in certain parts (as well as their newest record being named ‘Heavy Lullabies’) outside the stage personas the guys I discovered were super fun, easy as hell to talk to and crazy entertaining.
