The American metalcore/post-hardcore scene is filled with bands that only manage to follow a certain pattern that ‘they think’ might bring them success. One can get lost in the groups playing the same old thing over and over again. Luckily for us, some names do manage to stand out and create a certain ‘trendsetter’ halo around them, simply because they have enough balls to add diversity in their sound.
Motionless in White was not one of the lucky ones in my opinion..until this record kicked in.
